Who we are

Podere Settefrati is an organic farm run by our family since 1959.
The large stone farmhouse, dating back to the 17th century, was originally a convent. Over the years, it has been transformed partly into a family residence and partly into a tourist business.
The apartments retain many of their original features, such as whitewashed walls, beams, stone fireplaces, and terracotta floors.
Situated in the Chianti hills, amidst a landscape rich in olive groves, vineyards, and cypress trees, the house enjoys a quiet yet not isolated location, and the village of Montaione is just 2.5 km away.
Montaione is listed as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy" and is a charming village with artisan shops, supermarkets, banks, a pharmacy, doctors, gas stations, and excellent restaurants and pizzerias, some of which are just a few minutes' walk from the house.
Podere Settefrati is easily accessible (in about 40 minutes) from both Pisa International Airport and Florence Airport, along the Florence-Pisa-Livorno regional road. The road network is excellent.
The guest house is spread over two floors: the ground floor features a living room with sofas and armchairs, a dining room, a kitchen, a large bathroom, and a bedroom. The other three bedrooms are on the second floor, along with another large bathroom. Also on the ground floor are two fireplaces, one of which is completely clad in hand-crafted stone. Internet access, television, satellite TV, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, and all small appliances are available. The kitchen leads to the private garden with a large gazebo and barbecue, offering splendid views of the countryside, and a 6-person hot tub.
The private pool is located on a small hill overlooking the farmhouse. Surrounding the pool are lawns, trees for shade, and a large gazebo with tables, chairs, sofas, and loungers. The produce from our garden is available free of charge to all our guests, who can also enjoy our herb garden and try their hand at preparing dishes.
This farmhouse is ideal for a family or small group. It can accommodate up to 9 people plus 3 children who require a crib.
It is a small family-run farm with olive groves and vineyards.
The local baker delivers fresh bread and other baked goods daily.
Nearby, you'll find a tennis court and a riding stable, and the Castelfalfi golf course is just a 20-minute drive away. Bicycle, car, and taxi rentals are available upon request, as well as a midweek cleaning service.
