Le Mura - Podere Settefrati
Settefrati Farm is a stone structured farmhouse dating back to the 17th century, originally a convent.

It is roomy and preserves many of its original features like the white washed walls, the beams, the fireplaces and the terracotta floors. Situated on the Chianti hills, in a rich landscape of olive groves, vineyards and cypresses the house is in a quiet place but not isolated and the little village of Montaione is only 1.5 km away.
A lovely little rural village with craft shops, supermarkets, banks, pharmacy, doctors, petrol stations and excellent restaurants and pizzeria some of which only a few minutes walk.

The location of the accomodation is well reached in 40 minutes both from the Pisa International and Florence Airports along the main Florence-Pisa-Livorno road.

Video interview with Maresco Martini
We had the pleasure of video interviewing Maresco Martini, a lover of nature and trekking but above all a connoisseur of the trails of all of Tuscany.
Walking in the woods or on a mountain path admiring the beauty of the landscape that surrounds us is an experience that regenerates the body and the mind.
In Montaione there are 6 trekking itineraries marked by length, practicability and degree of difficulty: some enter the woods or run along the rivers in the valley, others wind on the ridges of the hills with breathtaking views.
Some paths are described by Maresco in his blog "Sentieri di Maresco".
